This privacy policy applies to the PushUp Workout Tracker app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, created by Dmitry Gorbunow (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
The Application is designed to respect your privacy. The Application does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with the Service Provider or any third party. Specifically:
All workout data (push-up counts, workout history, settings) is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you have iCloud enabled, this data may be synced across your personal devices via your private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit framework. This data never passes through the Service Provider's servers.
The Application uses the device's front-facing TrueDepth camera exclusively to enable automatic push-up counting. Here is exactly how it works and what data is used:
In summary: the TrueDepth camera is used solely as a proximity sensor to automate repetition counting. No face data is collected, stored, or transmitted in any form.
The Application does not share any user data with third parties. No third-party SDKs, analytics tools, or advertising networks are integrated into the Application.
Workout data synced via iCloud is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
You can revoke camera access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera. Without camera access, the automatic push-up counting feature will be unavailable, but you can still use the app manually.
You can stop iCloud sync at any time in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud.
You can delete all locally stored data by uninstalling the Application.
All workout data is stored locally on your device and in your personal iCloud account (if enabled). It is retained until you delete the app or manually remove the data. The Service Provider does not retain any user data on external servers.
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect any data from or market to children under the age of 13. The Application collects no personal data from any user, regardless of age.
Since the Application does not transmit any personal data externally, the risk of data exposure is minimal. All data remains on your device and in your personal iCloud account, protected by Apple's device and iCloud security mechanisms.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page. The effective date below reflects the most recent revision.
This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-02-26.
By using the Application, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact the Service Provider at dmitry.gorbunow@gmail.com.
